JOHNNNY'S BIO

Johnny's music career started courtesy of his father when he bought him a guitar from a pawn shop in the summer of 1996. From that point on, he had an instant connection to his "axe" and would continuously make noise whenever possible. Johnny would soon form a band with his brother Joe in 1998 called One Ten South. One Ten South is still performing throughout the South Bay and is comprised of close friends Frankie D'Amato, Shawn Deeter, Rob Sepulveda and Joe Camello. Throughout his career, Johnny has played and performed at various venues including: The Mint, House of Blues Anaheim, HOB Sunset, UCLA Football Field,, The Warner Grand Theater, BB Kings Blues Club Hollywood , countless bars and private parties. Along with One Ten South, Johnny is currently performing with The Pinheads and Purple Sugar. The Pinheads are a So Cal cover rock band that includes close friend Ryan Viducic and brother Joe Camello.  Purple Sugar is Johnny's main group, an original/cover remix band that formed in 2013. Johnny and close friend Matt Archuleta co-wrote  Purple Sugar’s EP  which came out in February 2014. Purple Sugar is currently working on new material and will be releasing the song "Fight" a powerful song about fighting cancer, July 2016.
